The PMC series is a powerful combination of a planetary and a conical–cylindrical gearbox. For many types of work (for example, when transporting bulk cargo, at sewage treatment plants or during recycling), drives with a large torque are required.

MS is a series with an increased inter-ship distance (EBD). In the new concept "EBD" developed by SEW-EURODRIVE ("Extended Bearing Distance", increased inter-bearing distance) the shaft support is reinforced inside the gearbox, due to which, in many cases, it is possible to save on an external support or use a smaller gearbox.
